Cetacean Marine is a veteran owned small business specializing in the operation and maintenance of research, training and offshore support vessels, as well as test range operations and maintenance. 

CMI Update:


7/14/10 - Cetacean Marine has been awarded its third consecutive five-year Federal Prime Contract to operate and maintain the 180' research vessel Lake Guardian and the 36' research vessel Mudpuppy II. 

12/20/10 - Lake Guardian has undergone a $1.8M drydock, repair and upgrade availability at Bay Shipbuilding, Sturgeon Bay, WI.

2/5/11 - Lake Guardian has received three new Cummins 150kW Tier II electrical generating systems, replacing three CAT 135kw systems.  Great Lakes Shipyard and JMS Naval Architects were subcontracted to assist in this effort.

6/28/11 - Cetacean Marine has been award a five year SeaPort-e Federal Prime Contract in support of US Navy Engineering, Technical and Programmatic Support Services.

9/14/11 - Cetacean Marine has been awarded a five year Federal Prime Contract by the US Navy's Military Sealift Command (MSC) to provide Operations and Maintenance Support for the Athena High Speed Research Vessel System.  This work will be performed primarily in the Gulf of Mexico using two 165' research vessels homeported in Panama City, FL.

12/23/11 - Cetacean Marine has been awarded a five year Federal Prime Contract by the US Navy's Military Sealift Command to provide Operations and Maintenance Support for the Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center (NDSTC).  This work will be performed in the Gulf of Mexico using two 135' Yard Diving Tenders (YDT) and more than 20 small craft operating from their Panama City, FL base.
